Pony Express 1860 Cast Iron Lock with Brass Tag & Keys — 2.5" x 1.5"
This compact cast iron lock brings Pony Express character to a shelf, desk, display case, or themed room. The brass tag and working keys give it the feel of a small historic reproduction built for collecting and display.
Use it as a distinctive desk accent, paperweight, shelf piece, or addition to an Old West, mail route, railroad, or vintage hardware collection. Its small size makes it easy to display without taking over the space.
Historical Note
The Pony Express operated briefly but became one of the most recognizable symbols of frontier communication. This reproduction draws on the look of rugged 19th-century iron hardware and brass-tagged security pieces associated with travel, transport, and dispatch.
